Just prior to the 'Eighties' I became seriously interested in photography. I remember my fascination as a child when my father gifted me with an AGFA Instamatic. The mechanics and fine design was a catalyst to my advancement. My father was a collector of the finest cameras so this fascination was perpetuated to an interest in the principles of photographic theory and applications.

Through the 'Eighties' I worked excessively for local photo labs as a technician and quality control manager. All facets of lab-work were my expertise as well as taking personal photographs. In 1989 I formed IMAGETECH which offered Professional Photography service and custom commercial photofinishing. Nearly 10 years later I transformed IMAGETECH into a digital exclusive camera shop and photographic studio as the digital era was showing excellent signs of progress within the established film-based industry.
